CECAM HQ, Lausanne, 26-28 November 2018
A workshop focusing on the ab initio study of magnetic materials. Key topics include magnetic response calculations using the Lichtenstein formula, TDDFT or via DMFT, the applicability of (bilinear-) Heisenberg models for real materials and other theories at finite temperature, and (fast-) magnetisation dynamics. Both the theoretical development of these methods and their practical implementation in computer codes will be discussed. The current programme of speakers is listed below.
For more information, please see the CECAM page: https://www.cecam.org/workshop-0-1549.html , or feel free to contact the organizers directly.
