postponed: SPR-KKR hands-on course on magnetism and spectroscopy

27th-30th April 2020 at Daresbury Laboratory

The Munich SPR-KKR code is a uniquely powerful software package implementing a wide variety of spectroscopy, transport and magnetic properties such as ARPES, core level photoemission, magneto-optics or the calculation of Heisenberg exchange interactions including multi-spin and anisotropic terms (and more). The fundamentals of KKR will be taught as well as hands-on tuition on how to setup and run practical calculations for these properties.

Please register here (a registration fee of £50 applies).

Accommodation in nearby Chester, lunch and coach transport to the laboratory will be provided. A laptop computer will be required. The school is sponsored by CECAM, CCP-magnetism and CCP9.
