On Thursday 1 December this year CoSeC will hold it’s second annual conference at Manchester Central Convention Complex, as part of the wider Computing Insight UK Conference.
CoSeC is currently inviting applications to speak at the conference.
This is an opportunity for those involved in activities supported by CoSeC (Collaborative Computational Projects, High-end Consortia and other activities within the UKRI Digital Research Infrastructure landscape) to present cross-cutting aspects of their work to like-minded researchers as well as leading members of the computing industry.
We invite abstract submissions from anybody working in areas that fall within the remit of CoSeC support, in particular around the following topics:
- Data science and machine learning: All aspects of data science, including topics relating to the use or development of machine learning methods and related software.
- Code coupling for scientific applications: Work related to coupling in the computational science context, this might be related to results of coupled computations, coupled algorithmic or workflow developments or developments regarding underlying code coupling software.
- Reproducibility within scientific computing: Work considering how to reliably reproduce computational results published within the sciences, in particular those relating to modelling and simulation.
- Exascale and future computing: All aspects of work looking at the use of exascale or future computing platforms, including technologies like quantum computing.
Accepted speakers will be able to present their work in-person on 1 December at the CIUK event in Manchester, an optional extended version of the abstract may be submitted upon acceptance and all submissions will be published as part of the main CIUK conference proceedings.
The deadline for submission is Friday 30 September (midnight UK time).
