CCP9 Conference and Community Meeting 2026, Liverpool

The 2026 Conference and Community Meeting of the CCP9 Network will be held in Liverpool, Tuesday 21-Friday 24 April 2026.

The conference will cover all aspects of electronic structure calculations in the UK, including fundamental theory, method development and applications.  Important topics include: catalysis and electrochemistry, strong correlation and magnetism, high-performance computing issues, GPU use, AI in electronic structure.  The conference will include a range of longer and shorter talks, a poster session and time dedicated to community discussion and networking.

This is a large conference (100+ participants) serving the whole UK electronic structure community.  The conference is very good for networking and we welcome participants at all career stages.

The conference venue is located in the very centre of Liverpool, two minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street railway station.  Parking is available.  There is no registration fee; accommodation costs as well as a conference dinner are covered by CCP9.
