Our Conference and Community Meeting 2024 will take place in person 19-22 March 2024 at the Mercure Chester Abbots Well hotel.
The conference will gather the electronic structure community of the UK covering all aspects of first principles materials science research, including code development and methodologies as well as application. The meeting welcomes researchers at all career stages.
The programme will have both invited and contributed talks, a posters session and a panel led open forum for community discussion. We particularly encourage younger researchers to contribute talks and posters.
The meeting will start with registration and lunch at 12 noon, 19 March and end 22 March at lunchtime.
Individual accommodation has been arranged at the Mercure Chester Abbots Well hotel in Chester, easily accessible by public transport. Car parking is available.
There is no registration fee and accommodation, lunch, coffee breaks and a conference dinner are funded by CCP9.
